Arm chair has caned back with arched crest rail with carved ornament at center and straight lower rail; straight stiles with carved blocks at top corners; curved arm with continuous curved arm supports; upholstered seat with single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; straight seat rails with carved corner blocks; raked rectangular rear legs; fluted tapered square front legs with cuffed feet; and an H-stretcher. Title, design notes, and "E. S. Webster / Det. Dec. 19 -1905 -- K" are handwritten on drawing. Companion side chair is CC010.001.006.044.002.
