Neoclassical-style side chair has crest and lower rails composed of two horizontal slats joined by a rectangular piece with an inlaid diamond shape; pierced splat with three vertical slats flanked by scalloped slats; tapered square stiles with pyramidal tops; upholstered seat; narrow straight seat rails; raked tapered square rear legs; tapered square front legs with spade feet; two thin stretchers on front and sides; and one thin rear stretcher. "638" is handwritten on drawing.
