Side chair has tall tapered square stiles with carved twist pattern; spiral carved oval finials; concave crest rail with carved scrolls flanking a circular medallion; upholstered rectangular panel with single row of metal tacks along perimeter; conforming bottom rail; trapezoidal seat with over-the-rails upholstery and single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; tapered square rear legs; tapered square legs with stop fluting and cuffed feet in front; rectangular side and rear stretchers; and front stretcher composed of three square slats joined by central diamond motif and blocks.
