Description

Design drawing titled "Lamp Stand of Mahog." rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Stand has square top with molded edge; case that is divided to have a cupboard on one side and an open book shelf on the other; molded bottom edge of case; columnar stiles with carved swags and bellfowers at top; tapered round reeded legs with turned rings at top; and cylindrical tapered feet. Title, design notes, "Made for Mrs. Percival Roberts 29148" and "11310" are handwritten on drawing.
