Description

Design drawing titled "China Cabinet of French Walnut and Gold" rendered in pencil on trace. Four views include front, side, top and plan of shelf are provided. Cabinet has one case section and a lower shelf supported by four tapered square legs terminating in block feet. Rectangular case has conforming overhanging top with molded edge; cornice with carved central ornament; a narrow door on each side of two wider central doors that project slightly. Side door muntins form diamond motifs; central door muntins form octagonal motifs. Door frames, legs and shelf edge have carved ornamentation. Lower shelf has repeating curved front. Title, dimensions and customer name "E. R. Pierce" are handwritten on drawing.
