Album of design drawings produced by A. H. Davenport Co. titled: "Cabinets. Bookcases." The title is printed on the spine in gold on a red leather label. The company name is printed in black on the front cover; the volume number "1" is printed in black on the spine. Album has a beige fabric covering and 204 pages, many of which are now loose. Album contains a table of contents page and twenty-five pages which have fifty-two drawings on trace affixed with glue; the remaining 178 pages are blank. Drawings depict a variety of cabinets, bookcases and bookshelves manufactured by the firm between 1880 and 1914. Drawings often contain handwritten information including dimensions, wood type, model numbers, date, customer name and detailer initials. Named customers include: Martha Alford; Sarah S. Brayton; Samuel Carr; Mr. Coleman; B. B. Crowinshield; H. B. Day; George Eastman (Rochester, NY); C. S. Eaton; Mrs. H. H. Fay; William Gammell (Newport, RI); Mrs. Green; E. S.
