Description

Oval porcelain tureen (a) with cover (b) and tray (c). Two reeded, double twisted handles, passion flower finial. Swelling oval body; oval tray. Green tendrils, pink peonies, flowers and butterflies on metallic gold ground. Scrolled medallions of 1) people engaged in various activities, 2) flowers, birds, insects; circular medallion with gold border, center of platter and on sides of tureen of birds, flowers and insects.
