Description

White clay body w/ green celadon glaze overall. Vasi or modified round club-shaped body w/ slightly defined circular foot. Wide dished circular mouth or narrow neck swelling out to globular body. Dense motif of butterflies, flowers and insects randomly overall w/ square scenic reserves w/ fretwork borders, featuring elaborate Chinese court scenes w/ interiors and exteriors, "Rose Mandarin" pattern. Very finely executed.
