Description

Earthenware sugar bowl with lid and Chinoiserie-style transfer-print pattern in mulberry. Scalloped rim, fluted body, ring finial and loop handles. Transfer-print pattern depicts two Asian figures under open pagoda and two more figures in a sailing vessel. Fanciful flowers and willow trees frame the scene. Border of floral sprays on dotted ground.
