Description

Secretary desk and bookcase. Mahogany, mahogany veneer, and pine secondary wood. Bookcase has glass doors with Gothic arches. Interior of bookcase containes two shelves with small drawers and cubbyholes. Three plinths above cornice: central plinth surmounted by gilt eagle finial, right and left plinth surmounted by acorn-shaped finials. Desk has sliding writing surface covered by green baise. Lower section has four graduated drawers with round wooden pulls. Rests on reeded legs with ring turnings and floral-carved and punched capitals.
