Description

Earthenware plate with scalloped edge and red transfer-print. Transfer-print pattern depicts harbor scene of Asian and European men trading with harbor, sailing vessels, exotic buildings in the distance. Border pattern depicts landscape with urn and Gothic building alternating with exotic floral spray. The border scenes are framed by scroll, flower and pendant border.
