Description

Pearlware children's mug. Two distinct transfer-printed scenes in black; first, three men conversing on a field with farm equipment in the background and second, a woman and two children gather wheat into baskets with a farm house in the distance. Over painting in red, blue and yellow. Red lines encircle the lower and upper rim and lip of mug as well as the center of the handle. Another hand-painted line is a green line directly above the lowest exterior red one.
