Description

Ladies hand fan with ivory sticks, pierced and inlaid with silver; one guard stick has small mirror with a gilt frame; paper leaf has white ground with scrolling gilt pattern enclosing cartouches, cartouches are lithographed and painted with winter scenes of figures skating and on a sleigh; two figures dancing with boots on; two figures dancing with slippers; reverse has similar white and gold paper, but only has one lithographed cartouche of three women and one man dancing in a garden in front of a large vase.
