Description

Cream wool w/ ivory silk braid trim. A=Jacket - angled shawl collar, trimmed w/ 3 rows of cream silk braid & wide basket weave border of ivory silk. 2 large mother of pearl buttons; cut away below waist; narrow tuck from shoulder to hem, front & back creates "panel" effect. This "panel" has seam at waist, basketweave trim & braid arranged in geometric motifs; long sleeves gathered at shoulder. Cuffs have basket weave border & braid arranged in sun motif at corner of cuff border; fully lined w/ ivory satin; weighted hem. B=Skirt - matching skirt has same "panel" effect as jacket, w/ vertical tucks at sides as well; narrow taffeta waistband; hem has 3 rows of braid & basketweave border. Fully lined w/ taffeta; taffeta dust ruffle; overlapping hook & eye closure at back.
