Description

This womens shoe is covered in beige ribbed silk brocaded with green leaves and purple flowers. The shoe toe and last are cream and green with purple flowers. The edges around the ankle are bound with green tape. The last and lappets are bound with white tape. There is at least one old repair stitched with green silk thread on the upper toe. The curved, carved wooden heel is 2 3/4 inches thick and covered with silk on the sides, with a central back seam. The shoe has a dog-leg side seam, square tongue and an oval toe.
