Description

Wood surface-mounted box with iron lock works and cover plate mortised in. Key operation from both sides. Two of three carriage-type bolts and square nuts, for securing box to door, still extant. Deadbolt 1 1/2" x 3/4" x ?" long. Cover is decoratively incised. Tagged "key missing."
