The plate is of circular form with a dished rim and a slightly scalloped edge. It is printed in deep blue with a view of the Blenheim Castle, river with swans in the foreground, and a floral and foliate scroll border.

Printed on the bottom in a foliate scroll band saying: Blenheim. Inscribed at the same place is: Oxfordshire. Impressed on the bottom is an eagle with these words surrounding it: ADAMS/ WARRENTED/STAFFORDSHIRE .
