Historical/Biographical Note

The Johnson House at 9 Ash St., Cambridge, Mass is the only 20th century house in the Ash St. Historic District. Built between 1942-1943 when Johnson was studying as a student at Harvard, the house is one of the earliest examples of early International Sytle in America.
