Family album

Description

Small bound photograph album with 96 black and white photographs - 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches. Subjects include family groups, sports, landscapes and waterfront, farm activity ( chickens, cows, haying), and exteriors of domestic and civic buildings. Depicts both summer and winter settings. No location data, although Parkhurst Road is mentioned and a small piece of paper may identify a building as the Adams Library. Individuals identified and labeled with pen include Aunt Alice, Mere Noel, Blanche Noel, Pere, Homer and Dampy. Two loose photographs tucked in after the album pages containing photographs are labeled " June and Pearl" and "Mammy, Aunt June ,Mere and Wendy", the later dated Feb 15, 1945, the 60th wedding anniversary of Mere, presumably. Further research finds a Homer Noel ( Born about 1896), a poultry farmer residing on Parkhurst Rd, in Chelmsford, Middlesex Country, Massachusetts with his French Canadian mother and father (presumably Pere and Mere) and with a sister named Blanche. This information would date the album ca. 1920.
