Description

Untitled design drawing rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Chippendale-style side chair has yoke-shaped crest with carved central shell and carved flaring ears; pierced owl's-eye splat; molded stiles; seat with serpentine front, over-the-rail upholstery, and single row of metal tacks along bottom edge; raked rear legs; and cabriole front legs with acanthus-carved knees and ball-and-claw feet. "572" and "Side [Chair]" are handwritten on drawing. Companion arm chair is CC010.001.006.003.005.
