Description

Design drawing titled "Dressing Case of Oak" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Bureau or dressing case has two banks of drawers flanking a full-length mirror. Each side section has backboard; overhanging top with molded edge; four drawers with bail handles; and rectangular base with molded rim. Large rectangular mirror has wide frame; carved geometric motifs on top and sides of frame down to height of flanking drawers; narrow shelf at base with molded top rim. Large scrolled brackets atop backboard help support mirror and are carved with rosettes and foliate motifs. Title is handwritten on drawing.
