The drawing depicts a Classical Revival-style mantel which has a cornice with carved oval paterae at the ends; frieze with carved oval patterae and a central carved kylix; and tapered turned half-columns with fluting or reeding on each side.. Title and dimensions are handwritten in pencil. Also handwritten are "Fact. 45545," "263," "Detail Destroyed," and "May 18 1907 J.B.W."
