Cradle. White pine . Original brass handles on foot and headboards. Nailed frame. Covered with black leather and decorated with brass nails. The sides are nailed to the foot, headboards and hood crest. The two-board hood is nailed to the top edges of the sides, headboard and crest. The black leather is nailed with iron tacks to the underside of the bottom. Small sections of leather have been lost. The interior is lined with two layers of nineteenth century wallpaper. The rockers have been moved and renailed but appear to be original.
