Description

Handmade envelope. One of a group of twenty-two enclosures created by Olive Percival of Los Angeles, California to house family documents. The envelope, which is open at the top, is made of white paper and stamped or printed with a blue geometric zig-zag pattern. On one side of the envelop is a black, circular handmade stamp with stylized lettering spelling "Percival." The envelope is labeled "Genealogical Data From dear Cousin Miles Wells Groves of Hartford" in Percival's handwriting.
