Description

Rolled fragment of floral stripe wallpaper produced by Hobbs, Benton & Heath, Hoboken, New Jersey. Damask stripe alternates with stripe featuring stylized roses with square flowers on long stem. The roses are circles by a gold medallion and stylized flowers. Roller-printed in pink, maroon, metallic gold, brown, gray, pale blue on cream ground. Pattern matches frieze 2001.281.1072.
