Description

Rolled fragment of wallpaper with Neoclassical-style tile pattern. Pattern of squares, or tiles, printed with female figures in classical garb with musical instruments. Figural tiles alternate with tiles depicting a harp. Block-printed in white and gray on light blue ground. Printed on heavy-weight paper then embossed and varnished. The varnish has yellowed the pattern so that it now appears to be yellow printed on green ground.
