Description

Partial roll of unused wallpaper printed with the "The Attica" pattern produced by Thomas Strahan and Company, Chelsea, Massachusetts. Large-scale damask pattern with central stylized thistle figure framed by strapwork and scrolling acanthus leaves. Thistle figures are flanked by urns with bow knot and are joined by floral swags. Roller-printed in blue over pattern of blue of fine vertical and horizontal lines, imitating the look of woven fabric, on white ground.
