Description

Rolled fragment of flocked wallpaper from the Chellis Estate, Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Large-scale floral pattern in which acanthus leaf and c-scrolls in green flocking form asymmetrical cartouches or medallions framing alternating rows of floral bouquets in flat bottomed baskets and floral bouquets in horn-shaped baskets against a cream ground with white, liquid mica ground.
