Description

Fragment of floral wallpaper from Captain Snow House, Provincetown, Massachusetts. Naturalistic floral vine with red and white roses, blue tendrils and leaves form a background pattern on white ground. Secondary stripe in gray with metallic gold edge only partially visible. Roller-printed in two pinks, red, two greens, yellow, blue, purple, white, two grays and metallic gold on white ground. Fragment is affixed to paperboard. Note states this paper was the first layer of many. Second layer of sidewall and border paper are attached to other side of paperboard (see 2001.281.969.1 and 2001.281.969.2)
