Description

Unused sample of reproduction wallpaper in the "Braintree Stripe" pattern by Waterhouse Wallhangings. Wallpaper has a pattern of alternating vertical stripes. Roller-printed stripe patterns include feather plumes, stylized bows, and six-pointed stars in circles. Roller-printed in blue green, white and brown on a beige ground. The pattern is based on a wallpaper found in the childhood home of General Sylvanus Thayer in South Braintree, MA. Paper was said to have been hung in 1808 to celebrate his graduation from West Point. \n
