Drawing is a three-quarter view of a house, probably federal-style, with symmetrical facade, wooden shutters, front door with side lights, a hipped roof with chimney stacks on either side. An attached addition and barn(s) are visible at the back of the house. In front of the house is a stone wall with three trees growing in front of it. In the foreground is a wooden fence and chickens and chicks in a grassy area. The paper has yellowed except around the edges, where protected from exposure by a mat or frame (now missing). Imprints of wood knots from backing board visible on verso. Signature in lower right corner "FHHif[?].
