Description

Fragment of floral stripe wallpaper from the Adams National Historic Park in Quincy, Massachusetts. Alternating stripes of pink flowers, one of small pink flowers the other of larger pink roses, divided by solid green and patterned mica stripes. Roller-printed in liquid mica, four greens, two pinks, red and white on a light cream colored ground. Marked with pattern number 8527 and "UWPC of NA" (United Wall Paper Crafters of North America). Note describes the paper as "Original from J. Adams House," however, the reproduction of this paper can be seen in the Brooks Adams Room of the Old House, Adams National Historical Park.
