Description

Four fragments of decorative paper from a bandbox associated with the Barnstable, Massachusetts library. Small figure, abstract pattern is block-printed in white on gray ground. An orange stripe is overpainted or stenciled on the pattern. Oval fragment (D) has an affixed label with "Miss L. Smith" written on it. Laid, partial sheets of paper.
