Satanella #

AvatarPosted by Richard Mawhinney on July 7, 2016
My grand father, Herbert Mawhinney, was the launch hand and quartermaster on the Satanella in the early 1900's. I believe M.J. Lawrence was the owner, or perhaps the Captain. He wrote Herb a nice letter in 1909 from the yacht, Vesta, in Alexandria Bay, N.Y. Herb made a replica of a 3 mast schooner 31* 20 inches which some family members think is called the La Tonia. Kindly forward your e-mail address and I will send the photos of Herb's replica. I would like to know the real name of this vessel.as well as the owner.
