Hello, Is there a way to actually view the photos you are listing in your collections? I see a listing for "Fitchburg" for example, but after clicking in circles, I'm convinced I won't be seeing the mysterious "Fitchburg photo album". When I see the words "Browsing Collections". I'm thinking I'll be actually viewing photos. Is there a way? Thank you, Jim

Fitchburg, Mass Family Album "unidentified" #

There are 4 separate places in this Fitchburg Mass Family Album. The 1st group is a center-chimney farmhouse (I can't yet identify where it is exactly); the 2nd is an isolated image of wood frame Victorian houses (I also can't identify it); the 3rd grouping is the brick George Fay House on Main St (aka the Fay Club) built 1884 and designed by Richard M. Upjohn; and the 4th grouping is Christ (Episcopal) Church built 1867 by Richard Upjohn (Richard M's father). As near as I can tell these images are from around 1884 or 1885 as the Fay landscaping along the boundary wall w/Baptist Church is newly planted; Christ Church is shown in its early polychromatic color scheme and before enlargement of the chancel & sanctuary. Cool pics - I've never seen early Christ Church interior pics and doubt the parish has seen them either.
