Description

A) Stiff oval hot pad, white plain-woven linen; fabric is stitched to form shape; B) oval linen cover; round scalloped edges; finished with off-white machine-applied thread; thin linen tape slightly shorter than length sewn at each end on reverse; tape forms a loop for securing cover to hot pad; in hope chest (acc. no. 1998.6174).
