Description

Round cream-colored potholder with silk border; primary fabric (probably cotton) is textured; machine stitching divides potholder into four quadrants; a few small stitches hold together a small section in one quadrant, giving the object a permanent crimp; from hope chest (acc.no. 1998.6174).
