Arm Chair

Description

Queen Anne transitional. Yoke crest with shoulders and rear stiles having beaded face edges. Vasiform splat rests on molded rail above replaced rush seat. Concave ridged side molded arms with volute handholds set on top of cone, spool and vase turned arm support section of front stiles. Stile below seat vase and block turned with weakly carved spanish feet. Ball and reel turned front stretcher with long conical ends. Plain stretchers at side and rear mahogany stain refinish. Evidence of brown red paint.
