Side Chair

Description

Queen Anne style and possibly an early 19th century reproduction. Yoke crest set on serpentine profile stiles. Vasiform splat seated inside shoe. Probably modern slip seat with green silk upholstery. Replaced seat bracing. Seat rails are molded on top edge. Cabriole front legs with applied scroll-knee brackets and trifid feet. Rear stiles carved below seat from square to cylindrical ending with club foot. Dark stain finish overall.
