Cornice

Description

Frieze and cornice built up from four pieces: a thin strip of molding nailed on at the base of the frieze. THe frieze has fluted sections (five flutes). Above is a cyma reversa molded board. Then a dentil course with holes. The paint evidence on this suggests that there was another molding above. This portion may have been put together from pieces as an example as on the top two pieces the paint indicates a corner locations whereas the frieze doesn't.
