"Palais-Royal" Wallpaper Panel
French Scenic wallpaper "Palais-Royal" pattern. Half panel depicts a man and a woman walking arm and arm in front of a smooth stone wall with vase shaped balusters. Arched arcade with pilasters in background. Other half of panel does not appear to be in the set. Panel framed by a leafy arch at top and tree like column on left side [column on right has been cut off]. Block printed in grisaille on blue ground. Original manufacturer and designer are unknown. Removed from a ca. 1800 house in Hopkinton, New Hampshire.

- In Odile Nouvel's book this panel is not pictured. However, since all of the other panels in the set correspond to a pictured panel in the book this half section of panel is probably "Length 19: 'La main chaude,' from 'Le Bon Genre,' no. 13."
