Description

Wallpaper fragments and two rolls [one partially used, one unused]. Chinoiserie pattern with purple skinned figures climbing and sitting on a dark gold and purple vine with gilt accents. Man with decorative umbrella stands near two men with nets and a seated man smoking a pipe. A woman stands on a balcony below the two men with nets. A boy carrying a fish stands under the balcony. Pale green star shaped flowers and leaves scattered throughout with flying red cranes and purple bears. Cream colored grasscloth patterned ground. Fragments from envelope marked "Paper from #34 at the Restoration". Removed from the Dining Room by Betty Phillips during the 1971-1974 restoration.
