House of Lirucus at Pompeii: the Frescoes

Description

Framed print of a fresco at the House of Liricus in Pompeii. The piece is seperated into three different sections. The top section is seperated into four pieces: the outside pieces have doors and the middle two have horses with fish tails. The top section is seperated from the middle section by a design of cherubs and animals. The middle section has three pieces seperated by statues: the two outside pieces are single figures and the middle piece is a scene of figures and cherubs. The bottom layer is a design of squares and draped swags. Within two of the boxes are bushes, and within the middle box is a bird.
