Suffolk Resolves House #

AvatarPosted by Steve Kluskens on March 21, 2013
The building in the background is the Suffolk Resolves House, moved in 1950 to 1370 Canton Avenue in Milton. In 1899, the display window in the photo was cut into the house, and by 1940 belonged to #36 Adams Street (the house comprising #36, #38, and #40 Adams Street at that time).

Thank you #

Hello, Steve,

Thanks for your interest in these photos from our transit collection, and for adding your knowledge to the existing cataloguing records.

It's worth noting that these online images were scanned from microfilm made in the 1980s, and thus sometimes show far less detail than the original prints and negatives, which are also in our collection. Please let us know if you'd like to stop in and look at some of the original materials we have from the Milton/Lower Mills area.
