Employees are standing in front of the store, as well as at building windows, looking out. A man is raking the yard in front of the office. On the left side of the image a man in a top hat stands with four children. Thurston has a store at 40 Long Wharf and an order box at 10 Court Square in Boston. The Drew photographic studio is at 22 Tremont Street in the Boston Museum building.
