Second Church, 1805, Codman Square, Dorchester

Description

A detail of the front and side of the church, which dominates the vicinity of Codman Square. It is the oldest Congregational meeting house in Boston. In 1806, James Bowdoin presented a fine clock for the interior and the bell in the steeple, which was cast by Paul Revere.
