Aquatint of Edinburgh Castle on a cliff above a small village w/ a working class population. In the foreground men and women are seen moving supplies. A horse-drawn carriage and a wagon are seen further back. Several old buildings are seen and one reads: "Wm Kirkwood/ The Boughts Custom House"; frame: 2 1/4 in. gilt.
