Woven wool rug with a center panel with a blue ground and a repeating design of a large rosette with multi-colored diamond in the center flaked by orange beetles. In each corner of the design there is a large red palm. There are rows of multi-colored crosses that separate each repetition of the design. The field also contains many small diamonds, stars and rosettes scattered throughout. There are three borders. The inner and outer borders have a multi-colored rosette and boteh repeating design. The middle border has multi-colored s-shapes joined by rectangular bars. The edges were originally bound in a purple-brown color. There is a strip of cotton on each end.
