Description

A view of the intersection of Texas Street and Columbus Avenue in Roxbury Crossing, Massachusetts. Trolley car tracks run down the middle of Columbus Avenue. Numerous businesses line the street, including the Plaza movie theatre (1120 Columbus Avenue, formerly the Criterion Theatre), Woolworth's (1126 Columbus Avenue), and a liquor store. At the far end of the street, a billboard advertises Schenley's spirits near a railroad bridge with New Haven Railroad painted on it.
