Family and Friends in Salisbury, Massachusetts

Description

Album of photographs of family and friends in Salisbury, MA probably compiled by H.G. Little, 1917-1938.

Since the bulk of the photographs date from the World War I era, the home front is well represented through the Salisbury Coast Guard and "Salisbury's Welcome Home, October 12, 1919." A photomechanical of an undated proposed amusement pavilion in Salisbury Beach can be found on the fifth page. Although the contents consist chiefly of photographs, there are also woodcut Christmas cards, postcards, and clippings. Other locations represented are the Maine coast; Salem, MA; Danville, NH; and Barnard, VT. All pages are loose. Source unknown.
